I’ll never forget the moment: holding my phone, heart racing, staring at the screen in disbelief. I had just lost everything—and to make it worse, I was now $25,000 in debt.

When I was 20, I learned one of the most valuable lessons of my life. And I want to share it with you so you don’t make the same mistake.

Imagine this: You could flip a coin, and if you're right, you’d become a millionaire. But it costs $50,000 to play. Would you do it?

That’s basically what I did years ago. A friend introduced me to the stock market, and after a few wins, I thought I was invincible. So, I went all in on a penny stock—taking out a $25,000 loan and adding $25,000 of my own savings. A few months later, my $50,000 "investment" was worth just $5,000.

I lost.

But the lesson wasn’t just about greed—it was much deeper than that.

I had saved since I was 12, only to end up with a $25,000 loan and nothing to show for it. Meanwhile, my friends were driving flashy cars, and I was left wondering if I’d ever make something of myself. The only thing I had were my two hands, ready to work for a better future.

Would I change the past? Absolutely not. Because I’ve learned something far more valuable than $45,000.

You can never truly know how much someone else is willing to sacrifice or how hard they'll push themselves. So why risk your future by relying on them? That’s why I made a promise to myself—never again would I let someone else hold the keys to my future. I was determined to build my own success, no matter the challenges, no matter the cost.

This story sparked my journey into Flutter. With no coding experience, I grinded day and night, refusing to let anything stand between me and my goals. Every problem is just an opportunity in disguise—you just have to uncover it. I truly believe that.
